Section 10: Notification regarding preparation of Electoral Rolls

The Jharkhand Wakf Rules 2004State Rules of Jharkhand · 1995

(1) The Electoral Registration officer shall Issue a Notification in Form 5 containing the following:-

(a) the last date for application for Registration which shall be the fifth day from the date of issue of Notification;

(b) the date of Publication of draft electoral rolls which shall be third day from the receipt of application for Registration;

(c) the last date for filling any Claim/Objection to the draft rolls;

(d) the date of publication of final electoral rolls which shall be the third day from the last date of filling of objection or claims to the draft electoral rolls.

(2) The Notification shall be published at the office of the Electoral Registration Officer, office of the Jharkhand State Wakf Board and in all the District Wakf Officers and at such wakf institutions as the Electoral officer may think fit.

(3) Wide Publicity of the Notification shall also be given by Publishing it in the local dailies having circulation in the area, one each In English, Hindi and Urdu languages.
