Section 8: Obtaining list of Electoral Colleges by Electoral Registration Officer

The Electoral Registration Officer, before preparing or revising the electoral rolls related with four electoral colleges under clause (b) of Sub Section (I) of section 14 shall obtain the list of eligible voters in case of category specified in sub clause (i) from the Secretaries of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, in case of case of category (ii) from the Secretaries of State Legislative Assembly and Council, in case of category (iii) from the president of State Bar Council and in case of category (iv) from the Chief Executive Officer of the concerned State Wakfs Board.

9. Application for Registration by Voters to the Electoral Registration officer:

(1) The Electoral Registration officer shall furnish the form of application in form no. 4 to all those persons whose name are included in the list obtained under rule 8 and to all persons eligible for registration on their request.

(2) The Voters intending to get registered in the respective Electoral colleges shall fill up form No.4 and form No.4(A) and submit them so as to reach the Electoral Registration Officer within 5 days from the date of Notification under rule 10.
