Section 16: Presentation of Nomination papers

The Jharkhand Wakf Rules 2004State Rules of Jharkhand · 1995

(1) Nomination papers duly filled in all respects in Form No. 10 shall be filed on any day before the last day notified at such place and within such time as may be specified in the notice published under Rule 15.

(2) A candidate shall not file more than two nomination for a single seat, through the proposed of each nomination may not be the same person. Provided that the Retuning officer may allow any clerical or technical error in the nomination paper - 7 - in respect of the said names or numbers to be corrected in order to bring them into conformity with the corresponding entries in the electoral roll and where necessary may direct that any clerical or technical error in the said entries to be over looked.
