Section 34: Appointment of Chief Executive Officer of the Board

(1) The Chief Executive Officer of the Board shall be appointed on deputation who shall be an Officer of the Indian Administrative Service or a member of the State Administration Service not below the rank of a Deputy Secretary belonging to the Muslim Minorities having knowledge of Urdu language.

(2) The term of deputation for the post of chef executive officer shall be normally for three years which may be extended up to five years in consultation with the Board.
