Whenever a charge or a mortgage on land or interest therein is created or executed by an agriculturist in favour of a credit agency, the credit agency Agricultural Credit Operations and [1975: KAR. ACT 2 Miscellaneous Provisions 14 shall give intimation to the Tahsildar of the taluk in which the land is situated or to any officer authorised by him, of the particulars of the charge or mortgage in its favour. The Tahsildar or the officer authorised by him shall make a note of the particulars of charge or mortgage in the Record of Rights relating to the land over which the charge or mortgage has been created.
