Section 78: Grant of certificate of election to the returned candidate

As soon as may be after a candidate is declared, by the Returning officer under the provisions of rules 32 and 77 as elected, the Returning officer shall grant to such candidate a certificate of election in Form-26 and obtain from the candidate an acknowledgement of its receipt duly signed by him and immediately send the acknowledgement to the Chief Commissioner.
