Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (Recruitment of Poura Karmikas) (Special) Rules, 2017.State Rules of Karnataka · 1977

(1) These rules may be called the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (Recruitment of Poura Karmikas) (Special) Rules, 2017.

(2) They shall come into force from the date of their final publication in the official Gazette.

(3) Notwithstanding anything contained in the Karnataka Civil Services (General Recruitment) Rules, 1977 or in the city of Bengaluru Municipal Corporation Services (General) Cadre and Recruitment Regulations, 1971 or in any other rules of recruitment relating to the categories of posts specified in the schedule made or deemed to have been made, under the Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978 (Karnataka Act 14 of 1990) and the Karnataka Municipal Corporations Act, 1976 (Karnataka Act 14 of 1977) the provisions of these rules shall apply to recruitment of 4000 posts direct recruitment vacancies in the categories of posts of Pourakarmikas in the Municipal Corporations Services as specified in the schedule:

Provided that, nothing in these rules shall apply to more than one recruitment.
