Notwithstanding anything contained in the Karnataka Civil Services (General Recruitment) Rules, 1977 or in the Bengaluru Municipal Corporation Services (General) (Cadre and Recruitment) Regulations, 1971 the maximum age limit shall not be more than forty five years.
