Section 1: Title, commencement and application

The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike Services (Recruitment to Senior Medical Officers or Specialists and General Duty Medical Officers) (…State Rules of Karnataka · 1977

(1) These rules may be called the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike Services (Recruitment to Senior Medical Officers or Specialists and General Duty Medical Officers) (Special) Rules, 2020.

(2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the official Gazette.

(3) Notwithstanding anything contained in the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike(General Cadre and Recruitment of Officers and Employees) Rules, 2020 or any other rules of recruitment relating to the category of posts specified in the schedule, made or deemed to have been made under the Karnataka Municipal Corporations Act, 1976 (Karnataka Act 14 of 1977). The provisions of these rules, shall apply to direct recruitment vacancies in the categories of posts as specified in the schedule:

Provided that, nothing in these rules shall apply to more than one recruitment.
