The selection authority shall advertise categories of posts and the number of vacancies to be filled under these rules in the official Gazette specifying the conditions of eligibility, the nature of selection, the classification of posts in accordance with the reservations of posts provided by or under any law or order for the time being in force and invite applications from the eligible candidates. Abstract of such advertisement shall also be published at least in two leading newspapers having wide circulation in the State, of which one shall be in Kannada.
