Section 6: Annual Report

The Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission (Annual Statement of Accounts) Rules, 2001State Rules of Karnataka · 1999

The Commission shall as soon as possible after the end of the financial year but within six months of the close of the financial year submit to the State Government an Annual Report of the Commission ́s operations during the finicial year ending 31st day of March and also indicating any new activities to be taken up by the Commission in the next financial year.

(2) The Annual Report in addition to maters of general interest shall include the following;

(a) Name of the Chairman, Members and Officers of the Commission with an organization chart ̤

(b) Very short statement of each of the proceedings/decisions taken by the commission during the year

(c) A review of the work of the Advisory Committee along with the names of all the Members of the committee

(d) A general review of the power sector as seen from the proceeding before the commission

(e) The general financial position of the Commission indicating income and expenditure̤

(f) Details of all the open enquiries and formal meetings of the commission̤
