Section 2: Amendment of Schedule V

The Karnataka Government (Allocation of Business) (Amendment) Rules, 2023State Rules of Karnataka · 1990

In the Karnataka Government (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1977, (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), in SCHEDULE-V,

(i) for the heading “EDUCATION DEPARTMENT” the heading “DEPARTMENT OF SCHOOL EDUCATION AND LITERACY” shall be substituted.

(ii) the sub-headings “I. Higher Education” and “K. National Cadet Corps” and entries relating thereto shall be omitted.

(iii) in the sub-headings “C. Codes and Manuals and D. Recruitment rules and Appointments” for the words “Education Department” wherever they occur, the words “Department of School Education and Literacy” shall be substituted.
