Section 13: Claims Authority

The Karnataka Motor Transport and Other Allied Workers Social Secruity and Welfare Act, 2024State Act of Karnataka · Act 13 of 2024

(1) The Government may, by order notify in the official gazette, Claims Authority not below the rank of the labour officer in the labour department to decide on the merits of each application applied by the motor transport and other allied worker and sanction such sums as may be prescribed to the motor transport and other allied worker through online payment.

(2) Any such claims shall be heard and decided by the claims authority as expeditiously as possible in such manner as may be prescribed.
