Section 2: Definitions

The Karnataka Municipal Corporations and Municipalities (Property Tax Board) Rules, 2012State Rules of Karnataka · 1977

In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires,- a) 'Acts' "means the Karnataka Municipal Corporation Act, 1976 (Karnataka Act 14 of 1977) and the Karnataka Municipalities Act, 1964 (Karnataka Act (22 of 1964) as the case may be, b) "Chairperson" means Chairperson of the Board;

c) "Member" means member of the Board; .

d) "Section" Means section of the Act.

3. Appointment of Chairperson : Additional Chief Secretary to Government or Principal Secretary to Government in charge of the Urban Development Department shall be the Chairperson of the Board.
