Section 12: Refusal of registration and renewal and re-entry of names

The Karnataka. Nurses Midwives and Health visitors Rules, 1964State Rules of Karnataka · 1962

(1) The Council may direct that the name of any registered person who has been convicted of a cognizable offence as defined in the code of Criminal Procedure 1898, which discloses such defects of moral character as in the opinion of the Council, sufficient to make him unfit to practice his profession or who after due enquiry has been found guilty of conduct, which is in the opinion of the council in famous in any professional respect shall be removed from the register.

(2) The Council may, in the case of any person refuse to register his name.
