Section 2: Definitions

The Karnataka Parliamentary Secretaries Salary, Allowances and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1963State Act of Karnataka · Act 15 of 1963

In this Act, unless the context, otherwise requires,—

(a) “Parliamentary Secretary” means a member of the 1[Karnataka]1 Legislative Assembly]2 or the 1[Karnataka Legislative Council]1 appointed as a Parliamentary Secretary 2[by the Chief Minister]2;

(b) “prescribed” means prescribed by rules made under this Act;
