(1) The Director of Archtves shall accept for deposit and preservatton Public Records of permanent nature which have been retained after recording by the records creating agency in its records roomn for the last twenty fve years, or more.
(2) Records Oficer shall intimate to the Director of Archives or Head of the Office, as the case may be, cach year before 31+ day of'January, in Form-1, the particulars of all Public Records of permanent nature which are due for appralsal during the year.
(3) On receipt of an intimation under såb-rule (2), the Director of Archtves or Head of the Office, as the case may be, through his oficers, shall assist the Records Officer fn conducttng the appraisal of Publi� Records. When 'the appraisal is over, the Records OffRcer shall prepare, in duplicate, a transfer list in Form-2 all Public Records and depostt the same for preservation with the Director- of Archives or Head of the Office, as the case m¡y be, who shall-after his satisfacton return one copy ofthe transfer list to the Record_ Officer,as receipt of the Public Records.
