Before effecting sale, by public auction, under sub-section (2) of Section 15 of goods stored in a Warehouse which have deteriorated, the Warehouseman shall issue a notice to the depositor indicating the date, time and place of auction at least a week before the date of auction. The notice shall be published in a local Newspaper and shall be exhibited on the Notice Board of the local Regulated Market Committee in case the Warehouse is situated in a Regulated market area. Copies of the notice shall also be sent to be Prescribed Authority.
