Section 9: Renewal and issue of duplicate licenses

The conditions for renewal of license or issue of a duplicate licence shall be the same as those prescribed for grant of a licence. The duplicate licence shall be granted on an indemnity bond being executed by the applicant indemnifying Government against any loss or damage which may be caused by any one Using the license lost by the applicant and shall bear on its face the number and date of the original license in lieu of which it is issued and shall be stamped ‘Duplicate’
