The amount in the account of a member in the existing Welfare Fund on the date of commencement of this Act, shall be transferred to and credited to the Fund established under this Act in such a manner as may be specified in the Scheme and the liability of such member to pay contribution to such Welfare Fund shall be ceased on such date.
