Section 2: Definitions

In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires:-

(a) “Act” means the Kerala Payment of Pension to Members of Legislature Act, 1976.

(b) “Rail travel Coupon book” means a book containing rail travel money value coupons issued to an Ex-member under these rules;

(c) “Fuel Coupon” means money value coupons issued under these rule for the purchase of fuel for the travel of an Ex-Member.

(d) “Ex-Member” means, a person who has served as a member as referred to in clasue (i) or clause (ii) or clasue (iii) of sub-section (1) of section 2 of the Act.

(e) “Secretary” means Secretary of the Kerala Legislative Assembly.
