The pendency of any civil or criminal case in the High Court or any court subordinate thereto in respect of any allegation of corruption shall not bar the scrutiny, investigation or inquiry of or into that allegation under this Act, and no such scrutiny, investigation or inquiry shall be deemed to amount to contempt of such court.
