(1) The Board of Management may make, amend or repeal Ordinances in the manner hereinafter provided,— 46
(i) No Ordinance concerning the matter connected with the maintenance of standards of teaching and examination shall made by the Board of Management unless a draft thereof has been considered by the Academic Council.
(ii) The Board of Management shall not have the power to amend any draft proposed by the Academic Council under clause (i) above but may return to the Academic Council for reconsideration together with any amendments which the Board of Management may suggest.
(iii) The Board of Management shall consider the draft of any Ordinance, amendment thereof or repeal proposed by any of its member.
(iv) All Ordinances made by the Board of Management shall be submitted to the Chancellor who may assent thereto or withhold his assent. No Ordinance passed by the Board of Management shall come into force until assented to by the Chancellor.
(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act the first Statute and the first Ordinance shall be made by the Government.
(3) All Statutes, Ordinances and Regulations made under this Act shall be published in the Gazette.
