Section 15: Advances

The Leaders of Opposition in Parliament (Allowances, Medical & Other Facilities) Rules, 1977Central Rules · 1977

The Leader of the Opposition shall be entitled to :—

(a) an advance of travelling allowance in respect of his journey and the journey of the members of his family and cost of transporting his family's effects —

(i) from his usual place of residence outside Delhi for assuming office; and (ii) from Delhi to his usual place of residence outside Delhi on relinquishing office; and

(b) an advance of travelling and daily allowance in respect of tours undertaken by him in the discharge of his duties as such Leader.
