Section 2: Definitions

In these Rules, unless the context otherwise requires.—

(1) (a) 'Act' means the Electricity Act, 2003;

'Commission' means Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commision constituted/functional as per provisions of Electricity Act, 2003.

'Section' means a Section of the Act.

(2) Expressions used and not defined in these Rules but defined in the Electricity Act, 2003 Shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in that Act.
