Section 3: Constitution of the Committee

Madhya Pradesh Gram Sabha Swasth Gram Tadarth Samiti (Gathan, Karbar Sanchalan Tatha Baithak) Niyam, 2010State Rules of Madhya Pradesh · 1993

(I) There shall be constituted a adhoc committee of Gram Sabha to be called as Gram Sabha Swasth Gram Tadarlh Samiti.

(2)The Committee shall have minimum 12 members and maximum 20 members having interest in the subject, out of which; 50% shall be the women members.

(3) A person whose name is entered in the voter list of the Gram Panchayat and has interest in the subject may be a member of the committee.

(4) There shall be at least one member from the Scheduled Casts, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes in the Committee.

(5) At -least one woman member shall be nominated -from the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes.

mechanic shall be the ex-officio memb~rs of the Committee.

(7) The members of the Committee shall be nominated by GrairiSabha by mutual consent.

(8) A woman member shall be the Chairperson of the Committee and there shall be separate _treasurer for account of ComrtJittee and ABha Worker shall be the treasurer for activities relating to the Public Health Department. The Chairperson and treasurer shall be nominated by the members of the Committee by general. consensus.
