(i) The Joint Secretary of the Coundil/Society shall assist the Secretary in the discharge of his/her duties and shall have such powers as may be assigned to him/her by the President with the approval of the Teacher-in-charge.

(ii) The Joint Secretary shall, in the absence of the Secretary discharge the legitimate duties of the secretary.
