Section 50: Admissions.

The Maharashtra COEP Technological University Act, 2022.State Act of Maharashtra · Act 35 of 2022

Subject to all the reservation policies of the State Government for the admission in educational institutions, the admissions to all courses in the University, schools, departments, centres and sub-campuses shall be made by the University, on the basis of competitive merit, in accordance with notifications, orders or rules made or issued by the State Government, from time to time, and the same shall be published by the University before the commencement of the academic session :

Provided that, having regard to the maintenance of discipline, the authority concerned shall have the power to refuse admission to a student, except at the entry point of any academic program.
