To be eligible for appoiniment as a Town Planning’ Officer, a person miust possess. one.of the following qualifications, that is to say,— :
(@) A degree in Town Pianmng or Estate Management from any University recognised by the State Government in this behalf ; or
(b) Associate of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, London (ARLC.S); or
(c) Associate Member of the Town Planning Instilule, “Lortion (AMT.P.L); or :
a Maharasnira Kegional ard Town Plaaning Act, 1966 22 bt A
(d) A diploma in Town and Country Planning awarded by the Schoel of Planning and Architeclure, New Delhi, or by (ke Indian Institule of Technology, Kharagpur, or any other [nstitule recognised by the Stute Government in this behalf ; or = .
(e) A degree in Civil Engincering or Archilecture of any Universily recognised by the State Government in (his behall, or any qualification which in the opinion of the State Governinenit is equivalent to such degree with nol less than two years' slanding ; cr
(f) A diploma in Civil Engineering or Architecture with not less than four years' standing, and having knowledge of Town Planning and Valuation.
