Section 18: Rate of daily allowance

A Presiding Officer may draw daily allowance at the uniform rate of 1[Rs. 400] 2[Rs. 500] 3[Rs. 1000] 4[Rs. 2000] for all places in India :

Provided that, where a Presiding Officer travelling on tour on public business outside the State of Maharashtra is treated as a “State Guest” he may not draw any daily Allowances.
