Section 48: Permits for consumption or use of intoxicating drugs or opium.

The Maharashtra Prohibition ActState Act of Maharashtra · Act 25 of 1949

[ [Permits] for consumption or use of intoxicating drugs [or opium]].- (1) The [State] Government may, by rules or an order in writing, authorise an officer to grant [permits] for the [consumption or use] of [intoxicating drugs] [or opium] in such quantities as may be prescribed.

(2) Such [permits] shall be granted on the certificate of the Medical Board.
