Section 47: Interim permits.

The Maharashtra Prohibition ActState Act of Maharashtra · Act 25 of 1949

(1) Notwithstanding anything contained in sections [40A and 41] the [State] Government may, by rules or an order in writing, [authorize an officer to ] grant interim permits to persons applying for permits under any of the said provisions.

(2) Such interim permits shall not be granted for any period exceeding two months.
