Section 12: Maintenance and Inspection of Records of Grievance Redressal Committee

(i) The records of the Grievance Redressal Committee shall be kept in the custody of the Registrar. All Appeal, Applications, notices, roznama, orders, etc. of the Grievance Redressal Committee shall be preserved; and administered as per the provisions of the Maharashtra Public Records Act, 2005 (Mah. IV of 2006) and the Maharashtra Public Records Rules, 2007.

(ii) The records of the Grievance Redressal Committee shall be available for inspection to any person who has a right to inspect records under provisions of the Indian Evidence Act,1872 or under any other law for the time being in force, and to obtain copies of any records of the Grievance Redressal Committee as per the said law. The concerned person shall make a specific application in writing to the Registrar:

Provided that, no inspection of records of the Grievance Redressal Committee shall be allowed by the Registrar except in the presence of an officer, so authorized by the Grievance Redressal Committee.
