Section 25: Tenant's right to trees planted by him.
The Maharashtra Tenancy and Agricultural Lands (Vidarbha Region) Act.State Act of Maharashtra · Act 99 of 1958
If a tenant has planted or plants any trees on any land leased to him, he shall be entitled to the produce and the wood of such trees during the continuance of his tenancy and shall on the termination of his tenancy be entitled to such compensation for the said trees as may be determined by the Tahsildar:
Provided that, a tenant shall not be entitled to compensation under this section if the tenancy is terminated by surrender on the part of the tenant:
Provided further that, the landlord shall, during the continuance of the tenancy, be entitled to the rent of the land as if the trees had not been planted.
