Section 31: Exemption 01' registered medical practitioners from the provisions 01‘ this Act

The Manipur Nursing Council Act, 2005State Act of Manipur · Act 13 of 2005

Nothing in this Act shall apply to a registered medical practitioner.

EXPLANATION: In this section , a registtéred medical practitioner means aperson practicing medicine and registered as such under any law relating tothe registration 01" persons practicing medicine.

32. Power ofGovernment to dissolve and reconstitute the State Council,- If at any time itappears to the Government that the State Council has failed to exercise or exceeded orabused any ofits powers conferred upon it under this Act. or failed to perform the dutiesconferred upon it by or under this Act. the State Government may dissolve the StateCouncil and in case ofdissolution 01‘ the State Council, cause all or any 01‘ ot‘the powersduties and functions of‘ the State Council to be exercised, performed and discharged by anAdministrator who is qualified as senior Nursing Officer till a new State Council isconstituted.
