Section 29: Offences by Companies

The Manipur Nursing Council Act, 2005State Act of Manipur · Act 13 of 2005

Where an offence under this Act has been committed by acompany or persons who , at the time of offence was committed ,‘ were in charge of andresponsible to the conduct ofthe business ofthe company. shall bevdcemed to be guilty ofthe offence and shall be liable to be proceeded against and punished accordingly.

EXPLANATION: For the purposes of this section, a company means corporateand includes a firm or other association ofin‘dividuals.

30. Cognizance ofotTcnce, - No court shall take cognizance o1‘any offence under this Actexcept on a complaint made with the previous sanction ofthe State Council.
