Where a copy of the document creating a charge, variation or mortgage has been sent to the Deputy Commissioner or the Sub-Registrar under Section 1 of the Act, the bank or any employee thereof duly authorised by it in this behalf, may at any time inspect the relevant record of the Deputy Commissioner or the Sub-Registrar concerned to ensure whether the said copy has been filed in accordance with the provisions of Section 5 of the Act in the relevant books prescribed under Section 51 of the Registration Act, 1908, No fee shall be charged for such inspection.
