Section 14: Recovery of sums due

The Meghalaya Land Survey and Records Preparation Rules, 1982.State Rules of Meghalaya · 1980

(1) Every sum due under these rules shall be recoverable as arrear of land revenue and shall be paid to the Deputy Commissioner or Sub-Divisional Officer within whose jurisdiction the land is situated.

(2) Notice of recovery shall ordinarily be issued by and under the seal of the Deputy Commissioner, Sub-divisional Officer or Extra Assistant Commissioner as the case may be.
