Section 89: Training

The Meghalaya Police Act, 2010 (Act No. 7 of 2011)State Act of Meghalaya · Act 7 of 2011

It shall be the duty of the Accountability Commission to ensure that all its members, and other staff is regularly trained, inter alia, about: (a) technical and legal issues related to departmental inquiries; (b) specific forms of human rights violation; and (c) appropriate handling of victims of police abuse.
