Section 21: Power to remove difficulties

The Meghalaya Protection of Interest of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Act, 2018 (Act No. 8 of 2018)State Act of Meghalaya · Act 8 of 2018

(1) If any difficulty arises in giving effect to any provisions of this Act, the Government may, by an order, do anything not in consistent with the provisions of this Act, which appears to it to be necessary to remote such difficulty:

Provided that no order under this section shall be made after the expiry of a period of two years from the date of commencement of this Act.

(2) Every order made under this section shall, as soon as after it is made, be laid before the Legislative Assembly of Meghalaya.
