Section 9: Surveyors.

The Merchant Shipping Act, 2025Central Act · Act 24 of 2025

The Central Government may, by notification, appoint, as many persons as it may think fit to be surveyors for the purposes of this Act:

Provided that the Central Government may, by notification, authorise any person or body of persons, on such terms and conditions as may be specified therein, to be surveyor for the purposes of this Act.
