(1) The Registrar shall be the ex Officio Secretary of all the Councils of the University under the Act.
(2) The Registrar shall:
(i) Comply with all direction and order of the Executive Council, the Vice Chancellor, the Pro Chancellor and the Chancellor;
(ii) Be the custodian of the records, the common seal and such other property of the University as the Executive Council may commit to his charge: - (iiii Issue notice for, and keep minutes of the meetings of the Councils, Board of studies and other authorities of the Universiw;
(iv) Conduct all official correspondence between the University and other outside the University and between various Councils, Board and authorities within the University.
(iv) Furnish notice, minute and other records of the University to the Vice Chancellor, the Pro Chancellor and the Chancellor and the Vice Chancellor;
(vi) Call meetings ofthe Executive Council for taking emergent decisions, if any in the absence of the Chancellor, the Pro Chancellor and the Chancellor and theVice Chancellor;
(vii) Perform such other duties as may be assigned by the Chancellor, the Pro Chancellor; the Vice Chancellor and the Executive Council; and
(viii) Be directly responsible to the Vice Chancellor for the proper discharge of his duties.
