The Government may by notification in the Gazette or two newspapers direct that all or any of the provisions of this Act or the rules made thereunder shall with such exceptions, adaptations or modifications as may be considered necessary apply to persons doing the business in a tourist area of letting or plying for hire boats automobile vehicles, or to such other persons as may be specified in the notification.
