Section 11: Addition, deletion, audit, and withdrawal from courses

(1) The students shall apply in writing to the Academic office for adding, deleting, auditing and withdrawing from courses.

(2) A student shall have the option to add or delete courses during the first week of the semester with the permission of the Dean of the school.

(3) A student may take more elective courses than the minimum number prescribed in the programme provided it does not adversely affect academic performance in the degree programme for which they are registered and credits obtained in these additional or audit courses shall not be included for the calculation of Semester Grade Point Average or Cumulative Grade Point Average.

(4) A student may apply to Dean of the respective school to change a credit course to an audit one within two weeks from the commencement of a semester.

(5) A student who opts to withdraw from a course shall apply on the prescribed form within three weeks from the commencement of a semester.
