Section 3: Definitions

National Highways Authority of India ( Leave ) Regulations, 1997Central Regulations · 1988

In these regulations. unless the context otherwise requires;

(a) “Act" means the National Highways Authority of India Act, .1988 (68 of 1988);

(b) “Authority" means the National Highways Authority of India constituted under section 3 of the Act; , '

(c) “Competent Authority" means the Chairman. any Member or any officer or employee to whom the powers to grant leave have been delegated under section 25 ofthe Act;
