"4. Educational qualification and experience required for Chairperson.-
(1) The Chairperson of the Trust shall have the following qualifications, namely:-
(i) Master's Degree in Sociology or Education or Psychology or Social Work from a recognised University; or Post Graduate degree in any other discipline from a recognised University with any of the following qualifications;
(a) Master in Education in one or more of the disabilities, namely, autism, cerebral palsy, Mental Retardation and Multiple Disabilities; or 4 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(i)]
(b) Bachelor in Education in one or more of the disabilities, namely, autism, cerebral palsy, Mental Retardation and Multiple Disabilities; or
(c) Diploma in one or more of the disabilities, namely, autism, cerebral palsy, Mental Retardation and Multiple Disabilities;
(ii) Publication of research papers in reputed professional journals shall be considered as additional qualification.
(2) The Chairperson shall have the following experience, namely:-
(a) minimum fifteen years of experience in the disability sector of which not less than ten years in autism or cerebral palsy or Mental Retardation or Multiple Disabilities; and
(b) administrative experience of not less than three years as Chief Executive Officer or Chairperson or President or General Secretary of any Non Governmental Organisation which has been serving at least for ten years in the areas of autism, cerebral palsy, Mental Retardation and Multiple Disabilities;
(3) The Chairperson shall not be older than sixty-two years as on the closing date of receipt of applications by the Central Government.
