The North-East Frontier Agency Panchayat Raj Regulation, 1967.Regulations · 1967

(1) The Vico-President of an Anchal Samiti or any other member thereof, not being an ex officio member, may resign his office by giving notice in writing to that effect to its President and such resignation shall take effect from the date of its receipt by the President,

(2) A casual vacancy in the office of the Vice-President or any member shall be filled bv election or nomination in accordance with the provisions of this Regulation or the rules made thereunder:

Provided that a member elected or nominated under this subsection shall hold office for the remainder of the term of the member jn whose place he is elected or nominated.
