Section 51: Bar of certain suits and proceedings

The Odisha Court of Wards Act, 1947State Act of Odisha · Act 26 of 1947

(1) No declaration made by the State Government under Section 16 or 20 and no act done by the State Government or by the Court in exercise of any discretionary power conferred by this Act shall be called into question in any Civil Court.

(2) No suit or other legal proceeding shall lie against any officer of the Government or any guardian, manager or servant appointed by and discharging his duties under the Court of Wards for anything in good faith by him done or ordered to be done in pursuance of this Act.
