Section 16: Protection of action taken under this Act

The Odisha Essential Articles Control and Requisitioning (Temporary Powers) Act,1955State Act of Odisha · Act 7 of 1955

(1) No suit, prosecution or other legal preoeeding shall lie against any person for anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of any order made under section 3 or section 4.

(2) No suit or other legal proceeding shall lie against the State Government for any damage caused or likely to be caused by anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of any order made under section 3 or section 4.
