Section 17: Power to make rules

The Odisha Essential Articles Control and Requisitioning (Temporary Powers) Act,1955State Act of Odisha · Act 7 of 1955

(1) The State Government may by notification, make rules for the purpose of carrying into effect the provisions of this Act.

(2) In particular and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power, such rules may provide for-

(a) the procedure to be followed in arbitration under this Act ; and

(b) the principles to be followed in apportioning costs of proceedings before the arbitrator and on appeal.
